Privacy Policy

You can play the entire game without an account. We do not track you, we do not sell anything about you, and we do not use advertising identifiers. If you sign in, we store the minimum needed to recognise you next time.

Nothing, if you just play. Player names typed into a local game stay on your device. Names in an online room are held only for as long as the room is alive, so the other players can see who is in it.

If you sign in with Google: your email address, name and profile picture URL, so your account works across devices.

If you sign in with a phone number: that number, and a temporary one-time code used to verify it. The code expires within minutes.

If you make a purchase: a payment reference from our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.

Google, if you choose to sign in with it. Message Central, which delivers the one-time code to your phone. Razorpay, which processes payments. Cloudflare, which hosts the game and its database. Each receives only what it needs to do that job.

No advertising or analytics trackers. No cross-app or cross-site tracking. No selling or sharing of personal data. No location, camera, microphone, contacts or photo access. The game does not read anything on your device.

Account details stay until you delete your account. Rooms and their player names are deleted automatically once the room goes idle.

Open the app, tap your avatar, and use the delete option on the account screen. That removes your account and the details above. You can also email mail@indrajith.me and we will do it for you.

Imposter is a party word game suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
